Recently noted this 4th of July holiday week my Town-home Association allowed an owner to place large plastic American Flags with her real estate business cards attached in the common grass areas throughout the complex.. Per Federal Law (Order Code RL30243) related to displaying the American Flag "The flag should never be used for advertising purposes in any manner whatsoever". My question is as a owner, do I have a right to file a complaint with my association's board allowing this disrespect of the flag being placed on the associations grounds. I have family members that are veterans who when I told them what I observed comment that this was "TOTALLY DISRESPECTFUL" to the country and to veterans..
