NH owner's neighbors did roof, now want reimbursement

I own half of a house that has been split up the middle into two townhouse condos.

The other side was sold this year, and the new owners decided to get the roof done. I did not know when the roof was getting done, who was doing the roof and never saw an estimate until there was a dumpster on my front lawn, and the roof was being done.

I lost my parking for the entire weekend due to this as well.

Now the owners would like me to pay for half the roof. I am wondering what the laws say in terms of whether I am legally obligated to pay.

I am also wondering what the law says in terms of prior notice and common agreement when it comes to common areas. Thanks for your help on this.
