Our HOA annual meeting was cancelled

Is it right, that a yearly meeting not be held? The property management company said, a few months ago, that the meeting wouldn't happen, at the time it usually does, because of the virus. No ballets were mailed. And there was nothing like video! (I wanted to attend this yearly meeting!). Can they get out or the yearly meeting?
