Resident wants to become a corporation so they can rent unit

Question:

condos-florida-rentals.jpgOur HOA bylaws state that you must live in your unit, and you cannot rent it out.

One resident has asked that their name be taken off the property card, and replaced with their corporation's name.

One person on our board (we only have 3) is considering changing the rules to allow for this. My question is, can the board change this rule without the residents having any say in the matter?

If a unit is in a corporation's name, that means there could be different people there all the time. Anyone doing business with the corporation could be guests of the corporation.

Don't the residents have any say regarding changing the bylaws? I am in Pinellas County, Florida
