Are HOA Fees Negotiable When You're Facing Financial Hardship?

Is my HOA monthly fee negotiable? As of this year, our fee increased by $50 from the previous year. I have a mortgage, and my husband passed away last year, decreasing my total income. I may have to sell my condo, as others have listed their condo for sale recently. Thank you.
