Should larger condos get bigger storage spaces?

If we break up our condo building basement into storage areas do you think it should be by condo square footage or should everyone get the same amount of space?  We will fence the spaces in with a door and owners can add their own lock?  These will not be deeded so spaces would be owned by the association and are technically common space.
