# Can can condo association out of state owners vote via US mail?

## What do you think? Question:

Can a homeowner who lives out of state, send a email to [property management](https://www.condoassociation.com/property-managers/tabid/96982/Default.aspx) in lieu of sending their official proxy through [USPS](http://www.usps.com/)? Stating in the email what their voting choices are and to consider the email their formal vote and count them towards the membership quorum? I have never seen this as an accepted practice before in our [condo association](https://www.condoassociation.com/CondoAssociation/tabid/83434/Default.aspx).
