Question:
I live in a condo in NJ. After the last board election, the only info supplied to the homeowners was the names of the elected members.
I asked for additional info about the election, but never received all pertinent info. Months later, I got a statement from the management company saying I owed $88.50 in attorney's fees.
When asked what this was for, the manager said it was for the info I asked for regarding elections, and that the board told him to bill me. Also, no other homeowners were billed.
