We have to remove our condo association president

Question:

We conducted a unit owners meeting to remove three board members including the president. We followed all of the state of Connecticut's Common Interest Ownership Act's legal procedures. Upon arrival to the entry way of our meeting room, the board president who resides in the unit above the meeting room was not at home and therefore we were unable to gain access to the meeting room. Upon our referred attorney's advice, we conducted the meeting across from the meeting room, outdoors. The votes were 74-yes for removal and 6-no-for removal. It is obvious that the president is ignoring our legitimate votes. Has anyone any feedback? Next advised step to take?
