Does the association have the right to refuse to give me the name of the insurance company that my maintenance fee pays for along with other condo owners? There has been damage done to my condo located in New Jersey and the HOA and management will not give me the name of the insurance company so I can allow the insurance professionals to come and see the damage and get a professional opinion about what is covered or not covered by the insurance company we pay a lot of money to. Funny thing is that not one person came from the HOA or management company to see the damage done to my furniture and other problems caused by an uninsured contractor. I have never put a claim in to the condo's insurance before this and I know that they are responsible for the damage done to my beautiful furniture as there was a leak.
