Wondering how our condo fees are spent?

There is a lot of concern with where the money is going and being allocated as my association dues are excessively high with no amenities. I’m paying almost $500 dollars a month in a small building which includes trash, heat and exterior insurance. We are responsible for shoveling our own back stairs and there is no other grounds keeping that happens aside from vacuuming inside. No pool, no work out facility, no doorman....
