How to handle yard sales on HOA properties?


Question:

We currently don't have anything in rules or regulations regarding yard sales or estate sales by an individual owner.  An owner has now asked to have one. We don't want this to become a regular event due to traffic and having unknowns in and out of the community so - we are thinking about creating an annual event - where everyone can participate and then its once a year and done with. Almost like some towns do it. Permits would be taken to comply with regulations . Anyone have any community experience doing this or how does your community handle it - and whats in your rules and regs? Florida
