Condo association trying to remove all current directors


Question:

Can the condo board reject a proxy for a special meeting if it is signed, dated and witnessed? We got all the proxies first so the date/time and location of the special meeting was not known. After finding out when the meeting was, we went in and filled in the date/time and location. Is this okay? We're trying to remove all Directors and start with a clean slate but they are acting like they have an ace up their sleeve and we have done something wrong. Any advice is greatly appreciated.  Texas
