 How do we digitize our condo docs?

Question:

I’m the president of an HOA Association and we would like to update some of the bylaws that were written in 1984. Unfortunately they’re a scanned document that was done on a typewriter. I would just retype them in a Word doc, but there’s 56 pages. Online converters aren’t very accurate and we are trying to avoid paying someone to do it. Is there a quick and free way we can do this?
