AC Unit Crushed by Tree Trimmer; Condo Owner Questions How Property Manager Was Unaware

One day, my air conditioning unit died. When I called in a contractor to repair it (someone who has worked on many units and recommended by our condo manager), he asked me who had been working on the outside of the building lately.

He said was it was evident that whoever was working there recently had crushed the upper part of my unit by droping something very heavy on it. As it turns ou,t there was a vendor cutting down trees right next to my unit.

When I advised the condo manager, she stated she did not know what day the tree trimmer was there. I questioned her as to why she was nor there supervisIng the vendor. My understanding is that it is the condo manager's job to supervise any outside vendor. Was she violating her fiduciary obligations?
