HOA is saying the property is not up to code!


Question:

This question is submitted by Delores S. out of Texas

 
I purchased a unit 1 year ago. New HOA is now saying the property is not up to code, and a large assessment is needed. what happens if the city takes over and the property goes into receivership? Am I going to lose my home? I am in Arizona Please help!
