My Indiana HOA association for my condo that has failed to keep up repair on the roof (common elements) and now I have damage inside my condo on the ceiling. They say they don't have responsibility for anything inside the walls of my condo. My insurance won't cover because it was caused from the outside of my condo. What are my rights? Can I make them pay for the expenses" To top it off, I just received a bill stating that I have to pay them a $700 special assessment to pay for the bad roof they failed to repair because they haven't got enough resources set aside to do the repairs.
