We have a large condo complex in the Tahoe Basin (NV) area. Given the size of the complex and total loss coverage costs, insurance coverage is getting to be extremely challenging due to fire ratings going up in recent years.
Is it possible to break up the complex into smaller HOAs to get better insurance costs and coverage - what's the level of effort/cost to do something like this?
