Is HOA board acting too quickly to replace management company?

Question:

I'm the president of the HOA Board. I'm having difficulties with the other board members trying to talk with our current management company to solve any issue instead of looking for a new company. HOA Treasurer and secretary started to asking for bids, I don't know company name, etc. I know we can change the company within 30 days' notice, however not sure if this is the process to follow it and if they can move on looking for a different company without having a meeting with the current as I asked for it?  Florida
