Question:
I am curious about how receptive association members are to filing claims with their condo's master policy.
How do you balance filing a claim that is not materially above the deductible? Does each small claim trigger a premium increase?
Also, is fault taken into consideration, such as a pipe freezing due to owner failing to maintain proper heat?
I'm a new association member. Reading the blog, it looks like some HOAs are reluctant to file claims...perhaps they are savvy, protective, or lack some knowledge?
