Should Florida owners or associations pay for pest control?

Question:

Florida is considered subtropical. That said we have all sorts of bugs: ants, no-serums, roaches, flies, termites, you name it. These all come from the outside and manage to get in some units. Our docs state that each unit owner is responsible for the interior of their units while the association is responsible to address damage to common area. This seems simple but unit owners want their pests taken care of by the association especially termites stating they are coming from the outside, like every other pest. We feel it is up to the unit owner to handle their problems inside. Most unit owners have their own control. Any comments on this?
