The director is allowed to keep pets and judge a different pet violation?

Question:

This question is submitted by Marie P. out of Connecticut

There have been a couple of pet hearings since a newer unit owner got on the board who has a pet. There is a hearing this week for a pet violation, yet this director is being allowed to keep her pet, and also be judging this violator who has a pet. It has happened before.

It came out at a prior pet violation hearing that this director has a pet, and they said "Oh I'm going to try to get a letter for it to be my support animal". What should be done in this case?
